Funny How Everything Comes Together

Today is my two year anniversary at work. 

I was hoping to stay at this job about two years, two and a half years at most, before expecting myself to get another job.

This morning I got offered a new job, which I accepted :D

My Eureka Moment Came at 8AM on a Saturday

This past weekend I had an awesome dream…I don’t remember anything about it except that at the end of it I was so certain I found out the meaning of life. I rarely think about existential “things” and never really needed an answer to/wondered why I existed or what the point of my life was. I’m more of a go with the flow type of person (in certain aspects)- I’m here, I’m living, take opportunities when I can and do whatever I need to do to be happy. So it came as a surprise when I woke up thinking “holy shit I apparently know what the meaning of our existence is.” Like I said, I don’t recall the details of the dream…I recall I was amongst a group of people discussing/arguing about something and I just yelled “WE’RE ALL HERE TO TAKE PART IN EVOLVING, PROGRESSING, AND MAKING THE WORLD BETTER FOR THE FUTURE. THAT IS THE POINT OF LIFE.” I just said this repeatedly and the more I said it the more I was convinced that this was the answer to why we all exist. Then I woke up and thought about this dream, half asleep, and concluded that I was actually right in my dream.

Every single generation changes and shapes the future…no, it IS the future. Think about it, when have we, the human race, ever gone back in time to live like a previous generation? (well excluding the Amish and other anomalous groups in society) We are ALWAYS progressing and becoming more advanced and awesome haha. We never stay the same or revert to old ways and this may be common knowledge but ever stop to wonder why people are never okay with being content and staying the same? It’s in our nature, our existence to move forward and make progress and be better and that is just…awesome.
